Clients

What clients say:

Dave Irvine @ Sea Spirit:

On top of the fact that Joe always fixes everything I goof up, he is a nice person, easy to work with and always suggests ways not to “goof up” again. Plus, his skills as a web-site developer are great! He has helped me out for over ten years and I highly recommend his services for anything Mac.

Wayne Smith @ Costal Carolina Yachts:

eMac is a great service supplied by Joe Streno. I have used eMac for over 10 years and found eMac to be very professional, fast, thorough, creative, and reasonably priced. You can not go wrong! Wayne Smith, NC

Greg Matthes @ Sea Spirit:

Our office is ALL Mac, and has been since its inception.  Our go-to guy for set up, software, networking and advice has always been Joe Streno.  Mostly he’s there when you need him, and the few times he can’t be there he can usually walk you through a situation over the phone. If you want to maximize your MAC potential Joe can lead the way for you.  We highly recommend him.

Bill King @ Compass Point Yachts:

I have been in love with the Apple product since I gave up my portable Osborn computer. The thing that made me love the Apple more was when we met Joe Streno. Joe has taken care of our company and personal computer needs for over 10 years. He has set up many many programs, systems and networks for us and trained many non-believers on their new Apple. We joke at our company when we run across a problem or question “Call 1-800-Joe”. He has always been able to talk any of us through the problems.

Joe has set up all our websites. The current one is the best yet. He has added all the up to date features that a website can have. He has kept it up to date with all the changes we ask for. Joe won’t let our site get outdated.

He has set up all of our iPhone’s allowing us to manage the four email accounts on both the computer and iPhone’s as well as all the other goodies the iPhone allows for.

Joe has put our marketing in the “here and now” by introducing us to the Constant Contact program. He helps us email our marketing ideas to our best customers any time we wish.

Joe’s will take your staff and your Mac and get you and the computer to stretch to new and greater heights. He can do it in person or over the phone.

He is the eMac man. I recommend him to anyone. He is smart. He cares about your problems and HE WILL FIX IT.

I could go on and on but I think you get the picture.

About

Joe Streno & eMac Consulting:

I started leaning about Macs by purchasing a new Mac Plus in 1986. Originally I bought it to use in my recording studio for writing music and MIDI sequencing. Personal computers were very new then. That’s where the seeds of discovery were planted. I was a musician, and artist, with a technical bent. I learned all I could about the Mac, the OS, and all applications I could afford. It was challenging and fun!

The expertise I gained through using my Mac, were put to the test when I was employed at Mac Warehouse as a member of the telephone tech support team, during the early 90′s. Without having a Mac in front of me I had to visualize the Mac interface, OS, software and hardware, to help people troubleshoot issues with installation of a new product they bought. This certainly helped me hone my troubleshooting skills as well as my customer service skills.

In 1995 I worked for Westwind Computing in Seattle. I was a Mac systems engineer as well as a bench/repair tech. During this time I obtained my Apple Tools certification, OS X server training and eventually became the senior systems engineer.

In 1999 I left Westwind to move to San Diego. But something didn’t feel right about the move. When I returned to Seattle a few of my old clients called me and said “We don’t want anyone else working on our computers except you!” In that moment, eMac Consulting was born. That was October of 1999. Some of those clients are still with me.

Whether old or new, every client gets my personal attention, dedication and experience. Every day.

Thank You.
